What is SafeGuard?

SafeGuard is a business email archival solution that works in conjunction with MailGuard. Once a month, you receive an encrypted CD/DVD with a backup copy of every email that has been sent or received by your business

SafeGuard provides a convenient and simple solution to meet the legislative requirements to store email correspondence, whilst giving you the peace of mind that you have a secure copy of every email – regardless of whether it has been deleted on your workstation, or servers.

With email storage space reaching critical levels in many organisations, SafeGuard provides you with the confidence to delete emails from ‘out of control inboxes’, knowing that a secure copy is stored away safely.

  • EASY SafeGuard does not require any hardware, software or installation. SafeGuard simply arrives as a CD/DVD each month so you can safely store away a secure archive of all of your emails.
  • SECURE AND PRIVATE All mail is stored in a fully encrypted format. Only you can access your email with your MAILGUARD username and password, keeping your mail secure.
  • RELIABLE Email is stored in a convenient and reliable optical format (CD/DVD). SafeGuard complies with: SEC Rule 17a-4 and NASD 3110 and 3010. SafeGuard meets requirements of the ’Electronic Transactions Act’ for reliability and integrity.
